Emir regulations present ‘opportunities’, says Oxley
Regulations that will oblige Old Mutual’s new Absolute Return Government Bond fund to “work harder” mark an opportunity rather than a threat, according to manager Russ Oxley. The derivatives-based fund, which launched on October 7, adopts the same investment philosophy as Mr Oxley’s previous similarly titled fund at Ignis.
