Investec W&I invests £500 million into alternatives
Investec Wealth & Investment is investing £500 million of client capital into hedge funds and alternatives, saying that deflation is now less probable. The firm's asset allocation committee has recommended a decrease in exposure to index-linked gilts and cash by 1% each and a reallocation to alternatives for balanced portfolios.
